Nightlight is a free, countywide, out-of-hours mental health crisis service in Hertfordshire, providing a safe and welcoming space for anyone struggling with their mental health. Whether you’re experiencing emotional distress, anxiety, low mood or a mental health crisis, our trained team is here to support you.
Our Crisis Cafés and Crisis Helpline are open every evening, offering urgent mental health support when other services may be closed. You can call us any day of the week between 7pm and 1am on 01923 256391 to talk through how you’re feeling or to arrange a visit to one of our local Crisis Cafés across the county.

Our Nightlight Crisis House offers a safe and welcoming space for anyone feeling distressed or facing a crisis.
Here, you can relax and feel secure, knowing that our skilled and experienced staff are always available to listen and provide support if you need it.
